Our application process is straightforward. All you need to do to get the process started is register your details.
Be specific and clear
The registration process is easy and is most effective for everyone if we can obtain as much information about you as possible from the onset.
So make sure your CV is clear about your practical experience, qualifications and that you properly explain any gaps in your employment.
It is important that you document all areas you have worked, the amount of time you worked there in years and months, and that you detail all training and formal qualifications.
We will also require a reference from your most recent employer as well as references for the previous three years.
Your personal, detailed profile
Once we’ve seen your CV, we will contact you by telephone to further discuss your employment history, qualifications and your work availability. We will ask you for comprehensive information about the type of patients or service users you have supported previously and in what capacity.
We will also ask the type of flexible work are you seeking in terms of type of specialism and frequency. Once we have all information back from you, we will invite you in for an interview.
Immediately after your registration process is underway, you will be asked to undertake any training which you cannot evidence or has lapsed. We ask that you do this simultaneously to us obtaining references and other information, so that we can get you fully registered and ready to work in the quickest time possible.
We will undertake all the appropriate checks, including a free DBS and any immunisation requirements. We do encourage you to ‘sign up’ to the ‘online’ DBS checking service which Swiis will reimburse you for.
Quick turnaround
We aim to complete all healthcare registrations within 2 weeks as a fast track and four weeks at the longest. However, the timing largely depends on the speed in which you provide information to us, so we need your help to accomplish a quick and easy registration process. We therefore ask that you respond quickly to all information requests, are clear about your work history, your referees and your preferred work options, as well as being available for telephone assessment, interview and training.
Swiis has just finalised an easy to complete Application Form which will enable you to complete your application online, via your laptop, tablet or mobile phone, where there is a facility to take pictures of relevant documents and upload them.
A key priority for us is that once our nurses have been signed off to work, you keep us informed of your availability so that we can offer you work at a time that suits you. It is imperative that you maintain contact with us so that we can plan your shifts weeks in advance where possible.
To benefit from our free offer of training and other benefits, you will have commit to a minimum requirement of shifts. We do have full time hours available for nursing staff, so if you would like to find out more about the benefits of working full time hours with Swiis, please speak to a member of the office based team during the registration process.
